Built in 2013, Loop Roof Level 3 presents stunning panoramic city views in jungle-like surrounds. We present an exquisite chef kitchen menu, combined with an array of tap beers, punk craft cans, crack local wines, and inventive cocktails- including the Loop Elixir special treats. Loop Roof provides protection from Melbourne’s seasonal weather conditions- with retractable awnings and heaters providing cosy relief from wind and rain, and misters cooling things off during the heat of the summer.
Built in 2019, Loop Top Level 4 is the fresh addition to the Loop family. Loop Top provides high end hospitality in the lap of the Gods. Treat yourself to a very special, select cocktail list amongst dozens of horticultural gems at Loop Top. The mystical bottle tree, the regal multi-crowned tree aloe, and the delightful array of prickly pear cacti paddles are just three botanical specimens to help whet your appetite- as the sun or moon sets looking over Melbourne’s CBD. Loop Top boasts a pair of mighty 5 metre square yellow and pacific blue umbrellas that provide shelter from both excessive sun and rain, and a misting system.
Loop is a Melbourne institution that has been supporting emerging artists, musicians and community since 2003. The Ground Floor Project Space & Bar closed its doors in January 2023, but we have since migrated some of our arts program to Loop Roof Level 3. On Monday & Tuesday nights, look out for the continuation of our creative forums, film and comedy nights, and a sprinkling of special community, environmental and hospitality events.
In 2017, Loop spearheaded the “Green Your Laneways Project” in Meyers Place with The City Of Melbourne. In 2018, we installed a majestic vertical garden on our building facade, and the Ground Floor Space was junglified with over one hundred hanging baskets and creepers entwining timber bar trellises.
Loop in conjunction with City Of Melbourne commissioned street artist Mike Makatron to create a massive mural in Meyers Place. This jungle-funk masterpiece- teeming with both tropical organic exotica and discarded tek paraphernalia- packs a vivid punch in its urban setting.
We hope you enjoy our “Loop Elixir” potions. These wonderful recipes have been blended off the back of nearly two decades of Loop history. Buy these unique pre-mix cocktails, gift packs and a curated selection of other urban garden treats by visiting our online shop. Shop here
